Are any good independent commercial inverters sold that work with lithium systems. Most inverters sold are designed for lead acid batteries. Thanks

They’re doing more for a number of reasons. Perhaps the biggest is as states and utilities shift away from net metering, solar customers are getting less credit for selling power back to the grid. Combining a hybrid inverter with even a small amount of battery backup can allow homeowners to self-supply power, avoid demand charges and peak time-of-use rates and still get high value for solar systems despite shifting state policies.

The home battery subsidy is available to all South Australian households and scaled in line with the size of the system being installed. This means that a household with a large battery providing 10kWh of storage is in line for a $5,000 or $6,000 subsidy, the latter one being reserved for concession holders – such as pensioners and low-income homes.

The ASIC is designed for minimum offset, and the offset referred back to the input current is reduced by placing a hole in the PCB under the ASIC to provide the smallest possible air gap in the magnetic circuit. Because of the transducer´s high sensitivity, a magnetic shield (not shown in figure 4, for clarity) is placed around the ASIC and air gap within the device.

The hybrid system offers one more advantage, allowing onboard camper equipment to run entirely off a combination of Toyota’s battery and a regular RV leisure battery. The vehicle hybrid-system battery recharges during the natural braking and deceleration of driving so there’s not even a need to plug in to charge.
