The eight SolaX inverters listed below were successfully certified with Tigo’s RSS solutions: TS4-F (Fire Safety), TS4-O (Optimization), and TS4-L (Long Strings). SiC excels over Si as a semiconductor material in 600 V and higher-rated breakdown voltage devices. SiC Schottky diodes at 600- and 1200-V ratings are commercially available and accepted as the best solution for efficiency improvement in power converters.
