The new variation of DC architecture emerging for FTM projects involves a separate DC-DC converter tied to batteries. These new DC-coupled FTM systems typically have lower interconnection costs than AC-coupled systems, as they rely on only one single point of interconnection. Strengthening their storage ties, Panasonic announced that it may begin producing lithium-ion battery batteries in China in partnership with Tesla. The announcement came from the company’s CEO Kazuhiro Tsuga, although as is so often the case, no more details were provided about the factory’s size or the required investment for project.

I’m a truck fan myself, there’s a start up company, Atlis Motor Vehicles, developing a 100% electric, full sized pickup with 4×4. Good on Wagner for making these changes.
