The H200 is an energy storage solution that integrates lithium batteries and the H5000 hybrid inverter into a 19-in. industrial enclosure. The H200 now offers Panasonic LNMC and Dragonfly LFP as battery options. The wiring terminals have been relocated to the backside of the H200 for easy access and speedy installation. The distribution panel was also redesigned with micro breakers thus making it more compact and increasing the battery bay space to allow up to 30 kWh of battery storage.

Both the H5000 and HB5 feature a stacking ability where the system can be configured to fit the site’s specific demands. If 5.5 kW or less is needed when off the grid, then you can use a single hybrid inverter. Stacking two hybrid inverters will get you 11 kW continuous and 15 kW surge power. If that is not enough, you can stack yet another hybrid inverter for 16.5kW of continuous power. Stacking does not only increase the amount of power, it also increases energy storage capacity. Each hybrid inverter has its own charging capability and can be controlled to work together, so you can incrementally add power and storage in parallel at the same time.

The largest savings from an electric vehicle is found in their longevity. The Tesla drivetrain has less than a dozen moving parts. Combined with its all-aluminum construction it will last a very long time and could easily travel to 1 million miles with only battery swaps. Some folks have wrongly predicted those swaps will be expensive. With production scaling and new technologies for accessing and recycling critical minerals like lithium and cobalt the cost of Li-ion batteries actually falls year after year. The replacement of my batteries at 150,000 + miles will be way cheaper than the engine rebuild and tranny swap an ICE car would need and the demand will drive technology and scientific research forward.
